No body loses nothing by obeying the Word of God, but we have everything to gain by living in obedience to your instructions. When God gives a command, he is looking for someone to make and receive his blessings. Obey his word and see the advantages in life.

What we get through obedience?

1. Healing: Naaman was a respected army general and influential, but suffered from leprosy for many years. He tried his hand at all known remedies, but not cure the disease. The day which followed the simple instructions of the prophet Elisha, and plunged into the Jordan River was the day I received healing their state of illness (2 Kings 5:1, 10, 14). His arrogance and disobedience has not helped his condition, the only thing that may need to cure it is obedience to the Prophet God.

2. Justice: Abraham was declared righteous, not only because he had faith, but because their faith balanced with obedience. We all know that faith without works is dead so the work he did was to obey God's instructions to leave the land of his father to a place God would show him. The second work he did was to obey God, when asked to sacrifice his only son Isaac. (Genesis 12:1-5; Gen22 :1-3)

3. Long life: God has promised to give long life to these children who honors his father and mother (Ex 20:12; prov.6 :20-23, Ephesians 6:1-3). The reason they want to enjoy the long life is not fair because honoring your parents, but because they actually obeyed the Word of God says to do.

4. Security: All those who disobeyed the Word of God in Noah's generation is dead. Only Noah and his family were saved because they have chosen to obey the Word of God. Obedient to his word in reality prevents him from destruction. (Genesis 6:7-8)

5. Prosperity: The Lord instructed the Israelites to keep his word they evolve in obedience to his word. Similarly, if the Israelites to obey his word and prosperity Thus, we still expected to obey his instructions today. (Joshua 1:8)

6. Hi: Obedience to the Word of God can bring salvation to others. Writing has revealed that the evangelist Philip obeyed simple instruction of the angel of the Lord, asking him to go to lead the way in Gaza. When he followed this instruction, met Ethiopian eunuch finally received salvation (Acts 8:26-28). The second person whose obedience has brought salvation to someone Peter was in the other. There is no better way to receive the reward of God to live in obedience to his word. When you obey, you feel honored him and gives his blessing in his life.
